The CDC Foundation has recently developed a COVID-19 Public Health Toolkit to support public health organizations in communicating with their communities about the pandemic. Other organizations, including state, local, tribal, and territorial health departments can use the toolkit to assist their communications as well.
The downloadable resources are free and can be customized as needed. Public health organizations are encouraged to distribute to trusted channels to help inform community residents about steps they can take to help protect against the spread of COVID-19.
Available resources include:
- Social media static graphics. These graphics include general messaging about staying home and other steps to prevent transmission. There are also graphics with information about essential businesses, mental health, school closures, symptoms, testing and unemployment.
- Social media animations. These animated PSA videos include information about the importance of staying home, how to social distance, what shelter in place means and how the virus puts everyone at risk.
The CDC Foundation will continue to create new materials and updated the resources that respond to evolving needs. Access the toolkit today!
