MyNACCHO LoginAs part of an ongoing effort to support local health departments (LHDs) emergency preparedness efforts, NACCHO has been working to identify the various systems LHDs use to order, track, and manage public health assets. In line with this ongoing project, NACCHO’s Preparedness and Research and Evaluation Teams will hold a focus group at NACCHO360. The aim of this focus group is to help NACCHO, and our federal partners understand the barriers LHDs experience with Inventory Management Systems and inform future work in this area. NACCHO will provide up to 15 scholarships to participate in this pre-conference focus group and attend NACCHO360 in Anaheim, CA from July 14 to 18.

About the Focus Group
Who May Apply:
LHD Decision Maker: A person from the LHD who has decision-making authority. This may include roles such as Local Health Official, Deputy Health Official, etc.
LHD Programmatic Lead or User of Inventory Management System (IMS): A person from the LHD who oversees the implementation and/or utilization of an IMS. This may include roles in areas such Epidemiology, LHD Leadership, Logistics, Emergency Preparedness.
Funding: This opportunity is funded through a co-operative agreement between NACCHO and the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR).
Outcomes: Results of the discussions will be shared with ASPR to inform and support the efforts of local, state, and federal entities on strategizing more effective responses to future public health emergencies. Feedback from this focus group will also help NACCHO to better understand the barriers LHDs experience with IMS and how NACCHO might work to address them.
