Why Should You Attend?

We know over 70% of people in the U.S. say they’re concerned about climate change, with 42% saying they’re very concerned, but only 14% think others around them are very concerned. You, as a public health professional, can help others to see they’re not alone in their concern and invite them to take climate action with you.

– Data from ecoamerica.org/american-climate-perspectives-survey-2023-vol-i-blog

You will be trained to lead presentations, communicate effectively, and invite others into meaningful climate action. You can put your knowledge and skills to use by signing the Ambassador Pledge at the end of the training to join the program providing you access to:

  • Localized resources, talking points, customizable presentations and events to help effectively talk about, and take action on, climate.

  • A private online network of thousands of Ambassadors across the U.S. to learn from and collaborate with, and additional training to build your skills.

  • Ongoing support to facilitate direct advocacy opportunities like write blogs, op-eds, and letters to the editor, participate in candidate forums or give public comments, rallies, contact elected officials, and more.

If you have any questions before registering, please contact [email protected].
