Now more than ever, local public health departments are exploring opportunities to share resources with health centers. NACCHO partnered with the Center for Sharing Public Health Services to develop a new suite of six tools that support the sharing of services; these have been adapted specifically to be applicable to resource sharing between local health departments (LHDs) and health centers (HCs) or federally qualified health center “look-alikes,” as defined by Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act.
