The Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC) Network is a community for MAHC users, subject matter experts, and those hoping to learn about the code itself. Members will receive updates on the code, have access and provide input to newly developed resources, and join bi-monthly webinars featuring the code and users.
On March 27, 2018, NACCHO hosted a MAHC webinar on the new Aquatic Inspector app:
Aligning Inspections with the MAHC: Introducing CDC’s New App, Aquatic Inspector
Webinar Description:
This webinar featured presenters Jasen Kunz and Joe Laco from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention delivering the seminar titled “Aligning Inspections with the MAHC: Introducing CDC’s New App, Aquatic Inspector.”
Aquatic Inspector bridges research and practice by helping inspectors use the latest evidence-based guidance to make swimming safer. Pool assessments can be easily and accurately documented, then quickly save and share reports right from the app. This app will not only streamline inspections and save time – it will also help states and localities follow a standardized inspection approach.
