Feb 25, 2026 | Madeline Masog

You are invited to join NACCHO on March 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM ET for Collaborating with Rural Healthcare Providers & First Responders.

This webinar will examine how strong partnerships and innovative programs can improve outcomes for those at most risk of overdose. Participants will hear from the Louisiana Bridge program, an effort led by the Imperial Calcasieu Human Services Authority that provides local healthcare workers with the tools and resources needed to identify and support patients in rural communities who may benefit from substance use treatment and related services.

Learning objectives:

  • Outline the important role partnerships with healthcare providers and first responders play as part of a comprehensive overdose prevention and response plan in rural communities.
  • Highlight resources that can support rural healthcare providers to identify and support patients who may benefit from substance use treatment or related services.
  • Learn from a successful program in Louisiana that has improved healthcare provider capacity in rural communities through systems improvement and peer integration in the emergency department.

Check out Resource List - CROPS Webinar.

Register for the webinar here.
