The 2026 Disease Intervention Community of Practice (DI CoP) is a unique national initiative dedicated to advancing the skills and knowledge of disease intervention (DI) professionals.
Supported through funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through a Cooperative Agreement awarded to the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) and sub-awarded to the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), this CoP will engage up to 30 selected DI professionals for a robust, interactive learning experience. Over the course of six virtual sessions from January to September 2026, participants will collaborate to explore the core Certified in Disease Intervention (CDI) exam domains, share best practices, and help develop resources that strengthen the DI workforce across the United States.
Members are expected to actively engage in discussions and make a formal commitment to participation. This is a valuable opportunity to enhance your professional impact and help shape the future of disease intervention.
