“What does financial strategic planning look like within a local health department?” NACCHO interviewed two local health departments to answer this question and summarized key findings in this fact sheet. Key findings include recommendations for LHDs to build strong internal collaboration between finance and program staff, make evidence-based strategic financial decisions, and align finances with their strategic goals.
