[NACCHO Webinar] ENGAGE: Guidance for Youth Substance Use Prevention

Apr 09, 2026 | Madeline Masog

As the landscape of youth substance use continues to shift, communities require a data-driven roadmap for primary prevention. To meet that need, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) developed ENGAGE: Evidence-Based Strategies to Prevent Youth Substance Use, a comprehensive review of substance use prevention strategies, interventions, and implementation considerations to support practitioners as they work to prevent and to delay substance use initiation and to bolster protective factors.

The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) invites you to join them for a webinar that will provide an overview of ENGAGE and guidance on how to use the resource. Attendees will discuss strategies and specific programs, and practical tips on how to plan and implement interventions in their own communities.

Register here to join NACCHO at 1:00 PM EST on Thursday, April 30.

Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions related to the webinar.
