The Nation’s Largest Convening of Local Health Department Leaders Will Take Place in Louisville, Kentucky at NACCHO’s Annual Conference

Public Health Professionals Will Gather at the Kentucky International Convention Center from July 14-17 for NACCHO360

Washington, DC, July 13, 2026 – The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), the voice of the over 3,300 local health departments across the country, will host the largest convening of local health department leaders, NACCHO360, from July 14-17 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky. This year’s theme, “Racing Forward, Swinging Big: United for Public Health’s Future,” is a direct call on the public health community to stay focused, swing with purpose, and race toward a future built on innovation, resilience, and health access for all.

WHEN: Tuesday, July 14 – Friday, July 17

WHERE: 221 South Fourth Street, Louisville, KY 40202 (Kentucky International Convention Center)

WHAT: NACCHO360 will welcome over 800 guest speakers representing federal agencies, local and national organizations, educational institutions, and state and local health departments from across the country to discuss challenges and advances in public health. The event will offer participants over 500 sessions that focus on a variety of public health topics, including access to immunization, AI, mental health, infectious disease, environmental health, chronic disease, food safety, maternal and child health, data modernization, emergency preparedness, and epidemiology.

  • Wednesday, July 15 at 9:30 AM – Public Health 2031 – The Future We Choose and What it Takes to Get There
  • Thursday, July 16 at 9:30 AM – Caring for the Caregivers of Public Health
  • Friday, July 17 at 10:30 AM – Telling Our Story: Public Health’s Voice Matters Now
