On Thursday, July 14, 2022, NACCHO and the National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD) co-hosted an action-packed webinar titled, Check Yourself: How LHDs Can Use Self-Collected STI Tests, to discuss the Check Yourself Program which was developed in partnership with Lets Get Checked. Check Yourself was designed to provide health departments with a platform for their patients to complete STI tests without having to come to the clinic. During the webinar, local health departments presented on how they use the platform and the presenters included Dr. Shobita Rajagopalan, Senior Physician and STD Clinical Chief/Associate Medical Director at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and Alicia Steines, a public health nurse at Linn County Public Health in Iowa. The recording can be found here.
