To promote vector control and protect human health, the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) works with local health departments to better understand and support their efforts in the field.
In 2021, NACCHO and NCHH worked with teams in Boston, Cleveland, and Milwaukee and developed Stories from the Field highlighting the lead work being done in each of these communities as well has how they adjust with the COVID-19 Response.
The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), with support from the Climate and Health Program at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has announced the 2021 Climate and Health Adaptation Demonstration Sites.
With funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration, NACCHO will award up to $75,000 total for a consultant to identify key lessons learned, barriers, facilitators, innovations, and opportunities related to LHD-health center partnerships engaged in COVID-19 response, inclusive of impacts on tuberculosis (TB) prevention and control, and other services.
