August is National Immunization Awareness Month. NACCHO is joining the CDC and other partners to highlight the importance of routine vaccinations and catching up on routine healthcare appointments.
On Tuesday, June 15, The House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health—chaired by Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-CA)—held a hearing entitled, “Booster Shot: Enhancing Public Health Through Vaccine Legislation.”
In 2021, NACCHO and NCHH worked with teams in Boston, Cleveland, and Milwaukee and developed Stories from the Field highlighting the lead work being done in each of these communities as well has how they adjust with the COVID-19 Response.
