NACCHO, with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is pleased to provide two new funding opportunities. The Strengthening Vaccine Confidence and Uptake among Adolescents and their Families through Community Partnerships project and The Improving Vaccine Access, Education, and Outreach Through Faith-Based Partnerships project are both now accepting applications.
On this week’s podcast, the National Association of County and City Health Officials’ Adriane Casalotti, Chief of Government and Public Affairs, and Lauren Mastroberardino, Government Affairs Senior Specialist, provided an update on the federal appropriations process, including the impacts of the debt ceiling deal, current state of play, and possible implications for public health.
In this week’s podcast, the National Association of County and City Health Officials’ Adriane Casalotti, Chief of Government and Public Affairs, and Lauren Mastroberardino, Government Affairs Senior Specialist, provided an update on the debt ceiling, which has been suspended until January 1, 2025, as well as detail on some of the spending limits and claw-backs of previously appropriated funds.
