NACCHO is partnering with The National Federation of State High School Associations on a new CDC-funded campaign to promote health and wellness among adolescents participating in high school sports across the country.
With support from the CDC, NACCHO is pleased to announce Equipping Local Health Departments to Address Vaccine Hesitancy, a technical assistance and capacity-building opportunity that will provide LHDs with resources to address vaccine hesitancy across the lifespan for routine, influenza, COVID-19, and other vaccines.
NACCHO joined more than 100 other organizations representing public health, healthcare, research, social services, and other sectors, and released a letter to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee opposing a committee proposal to cut $980 million from the Prevention & Public Health Fund (“the Prevention Fund”) to pay for other health legislation.
