World AIDS day is recognized on December 1st each year to support those living with and affected by HIV, and remember those who have died from HIV-related illnesses. This year, the theme for World AIDS Day is “World AIDS Day 35: Remember and Commit." NACCHO has gathered the following resources to help you commemorate World AIDS Day in your communities!
NACCHO spoke with two LHDs, the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH), to learn how each LHD has taken a One Health approach to tackling AMR in their community.

In partnership with the CDC, NACCHO is announcing the Advancing Equitable Harm Reduction Outreach (AEHRO) program, a six-month funding opportunity to organizations sustaining or expanding harm reduction services to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color who use drugs.
