NACCHO is seeking a consultant to develop a suite a communications materials highlighting the Strengthening Capacity in Suicide, Overdose, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Community Prevention Framework Pilot project and awardees.
As we wrap up National Public Health Week (April 3-9, 2023), I want to take a moment to say thank you and reflect on the important work done by the thousands of individuals who serve in local health departments. Thank you for all you do for your communities, but also for the nation as a whole. In my remarks below, I explain the importance of local public health.
The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), representing the country’s nearly 3,000 local health departments, has awarded almost $360,000 in funding to six sites as part of the Harm Reduction and Academic Detailing project. Each site will receive up to $60,000.
