Washington, DC, December 2, 2020 – The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), representing the nation’s nearly 3,000 local governmental health departments, is pleased to announce the release of the guidelines for the 2021 Samuel J. Crumbine Consumer Protection Award for Excellence in Food Protection at the Local Level.
Though the timing and duration varies, October often marks the start of influenza (flu) season in the United States. To assist local health departments’ in their preparation and response efforts, NACCHO is pleased to release two resources updated for the 2020-2021 Flu Season: The NACCHO Influenza Webpage and the School-Located Influenza Vaccination (SLIV) Toolkit.
