In celebration of Community Health Workers Week (August 28th – September 1st), NACCHO joins organizations across the U.S. in honoring and magnifying the voices of Community Health Workers (CHWs), a group of unsung heroes who occupy a profound role within the intricate tapestry of refugee, immigrant, and migrant (RIM) communities.
NACCHO collaborated with the National Network of STD Clinical Prevention Training Centers and National Association of County & City Health Officials to develop a series of six 30-minute educational modules to orient pharmacists to sexual health topics broadly, and specifically. STI and HIV prevention.
