Funding is now available through both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Department of Treasury that could assist local health departments in their response to COVID-19 and to strengthen the public health workforce.
The CDC has updated its recommendations, shortening the interval for people to receive their booster shots from six months post primary series to five months for both the Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines.
