CDC has updated its recommendations, shortening the interval for people to receive their booster shots from six months post primary series to five months for both the Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines.
CDC is also recommending moderately or severely immunocompromised 5-11 year olds receive an additional dose as part of their primary series. These recommendations were both supported by ACIP.
The Public Health Communications Collaborative has updated their booster messaging toolkit to reflect the new guidance from CDC.
