Through the program, companies are given exclusive benefits and recognition that are commensurate with their annual level of participation. The Affiliate Business Partner levels are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond and can be tailored to fit budgets and specific marketing goals.

LiveStories is a web-based storytelling platform that is equipped with interactive data visualization tools, drag-and-drop publishing, and its own public data library. Launched in 2013, the Seattle-based company has helped government departments and public health organizations create web pages or “stories” that provide context and analysis of data. Users are able to either upload data or use public data that are made available to them in the LiveStories data library to create stories for a range of audiences and communities, and the platform encourages team collaboration by allowing team members to share and comment on others’ stories. Organizations with limited resources can also have LiveStories build out the data products for them. The basic functions of LiveStories are uploading or finding data in the LiveStories data library, creating charts and stories, and publishing on the web – either by the health department staff or by LiveStories staff on behalf of the department.
