The purpose of the Cabarrus Health Alliance Emergency Response Plan (CHAERP) is to establish methods and procedures to be used by the Cabarrus Health Alliance and its emergency planning partners to respond to all-hazards that pose an imminent or potential threat to the health and welfare of Cabarrus County residents. This plan is designed to supplement the Cabarrus County Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). The plan is also for use when an event requires, or has the potential to require, more resources than are currently available, which may adversely affect the health of local residents or threaten normal departmental operations.
