Webinar Title: Best Practices for Preparing for the Medical Countermeasure Operational Readiness Review Items Available: Webinar slides (with links to additional tools) are available for download. (Please note: the link to recording of this webinar is found on the first slide of the presentation). Webinar Description: Using the feedback collected from local health departments (LHDs) during the BP3 Medical Countermeasure Operational Readiness Review (MCM ORR) pilot year review, presenters described common challenges experienced during the BP3 ORR process and solutions for addressing those challenges. Presenters provided a brief overview of the findings from the BP3 ORR cycle and how the tool changed for BP4. Strategies and tools that can LHDs prepare for the ORR were shared with participants. Strategies included using Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) documentation to help with identifying needed ORR documentation and a summary of steps for LHDs to complete as the ORR approaches in their jurisdiction. Tools discussed included crosswalk documents to help link the sections of the ORR to sections of the previous Technical Assistance Review (TAR) and other relevant preparedness assessment/guidance documents.
