These materials were available for download from the Closed POD Train-the-Trainer Advanced Practice Center (APC) website. Documents are zipped into three separate folders on training, planning, and response. Materials from the Closed POD Partnerships: Train the Trainer website were designed for businesses, faith based and community based organizations, higher education institutions (colleges and universities) and federal agencies that are interested in partnering with their local health department as closed Points of Dispensing (POD) for mass dispensing of antibiotics to employees, family members and/or clients in the event of a large scale infectious disease emergency. The website is no longer active but all documents and resources from the website have been saved on this tool. This tool was created as part of the Public Health Preparedness mini-grant entitled "Innovative Solutions in Public Health Preparedness" in 2009.
