This presentations explores the planning considerations, probable scenarios, and response strategies for long-term mass prophylaxis operations following an initial dispensing campaign. In addition, an expanded antibiotic screening model, and dual vaccination and medication point of dispensing (POD) model will be presented. Note: The research findings and long-term response model presented were developed by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH) with contributions from Raymond Puerini (NACCHO), Jessica Caum (PDPH), Natalie Francis (PDPH), Dr. Caroline Johnson (PDPH), Jose Lojo (PDPH), and Dr. Steve Alles (PDPH). This presentation was delivered by NACCHO staff at the Texas MCM Symposium in May 2015.
