This Continuity of Operations (COOP) Disaster Readiness Plan will assist Cabarrus Health Alliance in ensuring the continuity of its essential services. This plan does not apply to the tasks associated with disaster and emergency management activities but rather focuses on the continuity of the agency operations itself. The operational concepts reflected in this plan focus on potential larger-scale disasters that can cause a disruption to the delivery of critical public health services. This COOP, along with the established Cabarrus County Emergency Operations Plan (Annex R Recovery), make up an integrated program for the Cabarrus Health Alliance to identify and assess recovery needs with most public health emergencies.
