This PowerPoint is an example of a just-in-time training for isolation and quarantine and was submitted as supporting evidence for Project Public Health Ready Goal 3: Workforce Capacity Development. This presentation provides an overview of standard isolation and quarantine procedures as well as other issues related to isolationand quarantine, such as legal authority for executing an isolation or quarantine. Some of the legal statutes are specific to Michigan however, this is a good template that can be adapted for other local health departments.
