This PowerPoint is an example of a just-in-time training for isolation and quarantine and was submitted as supporting evidence for Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) Goal 3: Workforce Capacity Development. The presentation was put together by the General Counsel for the Georgia Department of Public Health and serves as an overview of the process and legal authority for isolation and quarantine procedures. Each state has different statutes and laws governing this process, however this example can be adapted for other departments and specific legal language and authorizations added.
