The Salt Lake County Health Department (SLCoHD) pandemic influenza exercise, Meds Rx US, was developed to explore the ability of Salt Lake County pharmacies to functionally demonstrate and formally evaluate: a) their level of readiness; b) any response policies and plans; c) relevant procedures, training, and equipment. The exercise also provided the opportunity for response partners to clarify their respective roles and responsibilities and to improve interagency coordination and communications.
