This Pre-Disaster Recovery Plan (PDRP) provides information about the functioning of the New Orleans Health Departments recovery operations. The plan provides guidance to ensure that the Health Department is prepared to initiate recovery functions following emergencies, lessen the impact following an emergency, and provide long-term recovery support and coordinate recovery functions between providers and community partners within Orleans Parish. This plan was identified through NACCHO's Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) program.
