Novice drivers are at greater risk for motor vehicle crashes and their resulting injuries and deaths. In fact, car crashes remain the number one cause of death for teenagers. The Parents Are the Key campaign helps to educate parents on their invaluable role in reducing risk and managing their teens driving behavior. CDC has launched a refreshed Parents Are the Key website, featuring new materials and resources. We encourage you to visit the Parents Are the Key website, where you will find a Parent-Teen Driving Agreement, fact sheets and guides that you can share with your constituents.
