This tool is a crosswalk between the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) Standards & Measures Version 1.5 and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Medical Countermeasure (MCM) Operational Readiness Review (ORR) Tool Budget Period 4. It was designed to allow local health departments to identify documents that could be used to meet measures in both programs. It was created by connecting PHAB Accreditation to Project Public Health Ready, to the CDC Public Health Preparedness Capabilities, to the MCM ORR by using existing crosswalks and connections between these programs, and then building off of that connection so that this crosswalk directly connects PHAB Accreditation and the MCM ORR. The crosswalk has two intended uses, for health departments that have completed an MCM ORR review or self-review to identify documents that can be submitted for PHAB Accreditation, and for accredited health departments of health departments seeking accreditation to identify documents that can be submitted for the MCM ORR. This crosswalk was designed for local health departments and may not be as applicable to state or tribal health departments. Disclaimer: This tool is not recognized by the PHAB or the CDC as an official tool, and use of this tool does not guarantee that documents selected through its use will be accepted by a PHAB Accreditation site visitor or MCM ORR site visitor. Please use your best judgment when selecting documents.
