The Onondaga County Health Department's "Sleep Safe and Sound" campaign offers free, downloadable materials your local health department can use to promote safe sleep environments and support efforts to educate parents, caregivers, and health care providers about ways to reduce the risk for sudden infant death syndrome. In addition to promotional campaign images identifying safe sleep environments, the campaign theme and message, "Give your baby some space. Share the room. Not the bed" can be used to educate healthcare providers and the community about the importance of this practice.
