The Michigan Strategic National Stockpile (MISNS) program has developed two new tools to assist local planners in developing Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) plans and meeting Local Technical Assistance Review (LTAR) Tool requirements. The first document is a Local SNS Plan Template which includes instructions for completing the template that directly relate to the LTAR requirements. The organization of the Plan Template contains a numbering system that also links directly to the section and item numbers within the LTAR. The second document depicts exactly what reviewers are looking for when evaluating local SNS plans in Michigan. These two documents promote plan consistency, organization, as well as transparency between local plan developers and state reviewers.
