A PPHR and PHAB Based Workforce Development Plan
The Kent County Health Department’s (KCHD) Emergency Preparedness and Accreditation Coordinators collaborated to create and implement one workforce development plan that addresses the requirements of both Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) and Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) standards. Health departments can utilize this approach to assist in accreditation efforts and guide competency based curriculum development.
