Mission To promote innovative and practical solutions that enhance the capabilities of all local health departments and the public health system to prepare for, respond to, and recover from public health emergencies.
This white paper profiles the conceptual constructs of Inclusive JITT (Just-in-Time Training) and its potential application in the Public Health Investigation and Point of Dispensing settings. By the use of case studies, the paper describes the Inclusive JITT approach and how it effectively merges the following educational principles in public health emergency operations, which include: learning dimensions, learning styles, and cultural context. This paper is a prelude to the Advanced Practice Centers release of Inclusive JITT toolkits for the training of surge responders which will occur in September of 2010. More »
