NACCHO360 Conference Convenes the Nation’s Local Public Health Leaders at the Anaheim Convention Center from July 14-18

Washington, DC, July 11, 2025 – The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), the voice of the over 3,300 local health departments across the country, will host the largest convening of local health departments leaders at NACCHO360 from July 14-18 at Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. This year’s theme, “Bright Lights, Bold Ideas: Shaping the Future of Public Health Practice,” will bring together over 2,300 public health leaders and experts to explore new strategies in protecting community health and to advance the path forward as federal priorities continue to change.

Highlighting this year’s conference is a keynote address by Dr. Mandy Cohen, former Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Dr. Cohen will share her insights on the future of public health in the wake of key federal changes impacting public health professionals and communities across the country. During her tenure at the CDC, Dr. Cohen led numerous initiatives to enhance public health infrastructure and response capabilities. She played a pivotal role in managing the nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, implementing strategies that reduced transmission rates and improved vaccination efforts. Under her leadership, the CDC also advanced its efforts in addressing health disparities and strengthening the nation’s preparedness for future public health emergencies.

NACCHO360 will host over 800 guest speakers representing federal agencies, local and national organizations, educational institutions, and state and local health departments from across the country to discuss challenges and advances in public health. The event will have over 500 sessions that focus on immunization, AI, mental health, substance use, infectious disease, environmental health, chronic disease, food safety, maternal and child health, data modernization, emergency preparedness, workforce, HIV/STI/Hepatitis, and epidemiology.
