For the fourth consecutive year, the National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD) and NACCHO are sponsoring six full scholarships for interested disease intervention specialists (DIS) to attend NCSD’s Annual Meeting, STD Engage. This year, the meeting will be held in Orlando, Florida on November 13-16. STD Engage provides an important opportunity for DIS to build expertise in STD prevention and control within a broader sexual health approach. The meeting agenda includes a DIS Skills Building Workshop and several breakout sessions focused on DIS work.
Scholarships will cover conference registration, lodging, travel, and per diem expenses. Eligible applicants are those who have never:
- Attended NCSD’s Annual Meeting.
- Received a DIS scholarship to attend NCSD’s Annual Meeting.
