Webinar Recording: Multidrug-Resistant Organisms with Increased Prevalence in High-Risk Facilities

NACCHO hosted a webinar on Monday, April 22, 2024, to complement the BUILD HAIAR March Community of Practice Call, “Preventing and Controlling HAIs and MDROs: Accessing Resources and Data Platforms.” The complementary webinar, “Multidrug-Resistant Organisms with Increased Prevalence in High-Risk Facilities,” covered the following topics:

  • Discuss/define high-risk facilities/settings/populations
  • Understand the types of MDROs that are prevalent in high-risk facilities/settings/populations
  • Discuss surveillance tactics for MDROs in high-risk facilities
  • Address health equity for healthcare workers caring for patient populations in high-risk settings
