ASPR Awards $50 Million from the American Rescue Plan to Strengthen the Medical Reserve Corps

The Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) announced $50 million in awards to 33 states and jurisdictions to strengthen the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) network – focusing on emergency preparedness, response, and health equity needs. Funding for the first-ever MRC State, Territory and Tribal Nations, Representative Organizations for Next Generation (MRC-STTRONG) grant program is from the American Rescue Plan.
