ASPR to Launch ASPR Next Program During “Innovation Day”

Jul 18, 2019 | Kim Rodgers

When disaster strikes, providing lifesaving medical care becomes more challenging and complex. To promote the best possible care in disasters, we need next-generation solutions that harness the power of cutting-edge technology to improve health outcomes.

To advance this, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) is preparing to launch ASPR Next, a new program to spur innovation in the development of new technologies and products that can be used to provide lifesaving care in austere circumstances.

To kick off this initiative, ASPR is bringing together its partners at ASPR Next Innovation Day to discuss ways to develop cutting-edge technologies to save lives when disaster strikes. ASPR is looking for partners to help address issues in the following nine areas of interest:

Interested participants can register to join in-person or online. The event will take place on August 7 and 8. Register for the opportunity to participate!
