Day two of the 2026 Preparedness Summit featured a variety of opportunities for the conference’s over 2,000 in-person and virtual attendees to learn and connect across sectors.
The day included over 40 demonstrations, learning sessions, and workshops. The morning featured the conference’s first set of Town Hall sessions on the topics of:
- American Red Cross and Public Health Partner Collaboration to Meet the Health, Access and Functional Needs of Disaster Survivors in Shelters
- Empowerment Through Efficiency: Supporting State and Locals Readiness for Public Health Emergencies
- From Tools to Transformation: How AI Is Reshaping Public Health Preparedness and Decision-Making
- Public Health Preparedness for the FIFA World Cup: National, State, and Local Planning in Action
Conference attendees also took advantage of the opportunity to learn from and interact with over 30 posters and their presenters.
Over an extended lunch hour in the Exhibit Hall, participants had the opportunity to network with colleagues and connect with over 60 exhibitors showcasing services and products for public health and emergency preparedness professionals.
