FEMA Seeks Feedback on Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) Doctrine

Aug 12, 2019 | Kim Rodgers

FEMA is reviewing the 2013 Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) doctrine to incorporate the lessons learned and best practices from the past six years of HSEEP’s use among the whole community’s exercise practitioners.

A critical element of the HSEEP review process is direct engagement with our state, local, tribal, territorial, and Federal partners and stakeholders. This feedback and input will ensure the review and update to HSEEP doctrine, corresponding documents, and the HSEEP training course best meets the needs of the whole community.

The initial outreach and engagement will be conducted between July 1 – August 15. The secondary outreach and engagement based on initial draft from initial inputs will be conducted between October 1 – 21. Current HSEEP doctrine can be found on FEMA’s website at: https://www.fema.gov/hseep.

Feedback/suggestion will be accepted through August 15 for the initial period at: [email protected].
