HiAP Webinar Recording: Local HiAP Initiatives

The second webinar in NACCHO’s 2020 Monthly Health in All Policies (HiAP) Webinar Series was held on Tuesday, Feb. 27 and featured two speakers from local health jurisdictions with robust HiAP initiatives.

The first presentation was from Cassidy Mutnansky, Health in All Policies Planner for the City of St. Petersburg, FL. Cassidy presented on the City of St. Petersburg’s HiAP process mapping for proposed policies and programs, and how they determine interventions for the policies and programs.
The second presentation was from Karen Thomkins and Brittany Foushee with the Montgomery County Health Department, MD. The Montgomery County team presented on their assessment of county programs with health implications and discussed how their HiAP work has been tied to their anti-vaping campaign.
