It is critical to take necessary precautions to protect your lungs from wildfire smoke. The American Lung Association, along with partners, released fact sheets in multiple languages, to share how the public can protect their lung health during wildfires.
The public can access the Lung HelpLine which offers assistance on lung health issues, including wildfires, in more than 250 languages. The American Lung Association also updated their wildfires website with new resources, including guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding clean air shelters during the COVID-19 pandemic.
