Radiation Injury Treatment Network (RITN) has developed the Healthcare Coalition Functional Radiation Exercise, a Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) compliant functional exercise toolkit for use by Healthcare Coalitions. The focus of the toolkit is addressing the operation elements for receipt, triage and care of radiation-injury and acute blast/burn injury casualties in accordance with existing Health Care Coalition and individual hospital/agency plans. This toolkit aligns with Administration for Strategic Preparedness & Response (ASPR)’s operational intent of a radiation focus.
