NACCHO invites local health department leadership and staff to participate in a webinar, “A Clinical Update on Novavax’s COVID-19 Vaccine,” on Thursday, September 29, 3:00-4:00 PM ET.
Novavax’s Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs, Dr. Seth Toback, will provide a description of the technology used on the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine and discuss Novavax’s clinical development plan. The presentation will cover how a recombinant protein-based vaccine is different from other vaccine technologies and review the safety and efficacy profile of the Novavax vaccine. At the conclusion of the presentation, there will be a Q&A opportunity. Please note this webinar will not be recorded, however, presentation slides will be shared.
