On June 25, 2026, NACCHO hosted a 90-minute webinar focused on strengthening coordination for chemical preparedness across local health departments and key partners. The session featured multiple perspectives, from CDC’s Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), Poison Control Centers, and local/state health departments to name a few, and highlighted the importance of rapid, relationship-driven response. Participants also learned about available resources, including NACCHO’s Chemical Preparedness Handbook, to support ongoing planning efforts.
