Webinar: Lessons Learned Addressing Food Insecurity Throughout COVID-19

Feb 02, 2022 | Beth Hess

NACCHO invites local health department leadership and staff to participate in a webinar, “Lessons Learned Addressing Food Insecurity Throughout COVID-19,” on Tuesday, February 8, 3:00-4:00 PM ET.

The number of people experiencing food insecurity has dramatically increased because of the COVID-19 pandemic, with millions of people experiencing food insecurity for the first time. Local Health Departments (LHDs) and community partners are taking innovative approaches to address the growing food insecurity needs in their communities. Join NACCHO on February 8 to hear from a diverse group of panelists who will discuss lessons learned and creative solutions to addressing food insecurity throughout the pandemic; and partnership opportunities for LHDs.

This webinar is open to all members of local health departments as well as other community partners who are interested in this topic. In order to join the call, please REGISTER HERE (only registered participants will be able to join).
